Pinetree Cottage

Nestled amongst pine trees on the shore of Broad Creek in Deltaville Virginia, Pine Tree Cottage is ideally situated for quick access to the expansive fishing and boating waters of the Rappahannock River and the Chesapeake Bay. Both, and the equally picturesque Piankatank River, are only minutes away by boat.

Pine Tree Cottage is a self-contained, fully furnished, fully equipped two-bed-room two-bath ranch style house with full kitchen and large, comfortable living room. Fully air conditioned, with heat pump too and even a gas log fire, it caters for all seasons. Pine Tree Cottage is ideal for family groups, or for two or three couples (there is a hideaway sofa bed in the living area) or small fishing parties. A maximum 3 parking space for cars, or 2 cars and 1 trailerable boat at any time.

Pets at Pine Tree Cottage. We allow pets, with prior notice, so please tell us if you would like to bring your pet. There is an extra charge made for this of $20 per pet per day with a maximum of $40 per pet per stay. Please enquire, the charge is made for the extra cleaning of the cottage between guests stay. We thank you for your understanding.

The floor plan and facilities offered at Pine Tree Cottage also makes it ideal for small gatherings of perhaps thirty or so, for such events as receptions, showers or birthdays.

Normally, Pine Tree Cottage is self catered. However, depending on circumstances, each bedroom, having its own private bathroom, is available as a bed and breakfast room.

Breakfasts (when catered) are served just a short walk away in Sanderling House, where guests can enjoy our creek-side views while they eat.

As with Sanderling House, we have slips available for those who have a trailerable boat or for those who may want to arrive by boat and take time-out from cruising the Chesapeake area to pamper themselves with a spell of shore-side creature comforts.
